Dr. Brian Higgins, a trusted family doctor with 14 years of experience, founded the Galway Skin Clinic in 2020 to meet the growing demand for expert dermatological care and advanced aesthetic treatments in the community. With a deep understanding of the impact skin conditions like acne and rosacea can have on patients' quality of life, Dr. Higgins and his team provide personalised, evidence-based care designed to restore skin health and boost confidence.

We understand that it can be difficult for patients to know which treatments are right for them or where to find the best care. That’s why our mission is to advocate for our patients, using a team-based approach to ensure they receive tailored, high-quality care that addresses their unique needs.

Nurse Maria Melia specialises in advanced laser treatments such as CO2 and Radiofrequency Microneedling, injectable treatments for facial rejuvenation, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for hair restoration, offering personalised care to meet each patient’s goals. 

Skin and Laser Therapist, Jane Moore, completes the team specialising in advanced treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling and hair restoration treatments. She also specialises in laser treatments and a range of tailored facials.  Our complete solution approach allows Galway Skin Clinic to provide patients with a tailored skincare plan.
